£30942 to £40322 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post based in the Nottingham School of Economics, which is one of the UK’s premier research and teaching departments for economics (ranked 6th in UK in IDEAS/RePEC, 6th in UK by Research Power in REF2014 and 5th in the UK by the Tilburg ranking of Economics Departments). The successful candidate will be expected to teach (lectures and tutorials) on a range of classes in the economics discipline.

Candidates should have, or be demonstrably close to submitting, a PhD (or equivalent) in economics.
All the teaching in the School is informed by research and applicants should state their research interests and to which of the School’s Research Centres he/she would like to be attached.  

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of twelve months.
