The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York is seeking to appoint a Professor/Reader of Health Economics to work within the Health Policy team on a full-time open contract (part-time applications will also be considered with a minimum of 0.8 FTE).

The successful applicant will contribute to internationally outstanding research and scholarship, applying an economic perspective and quantitative analysis to advance academic thinking and support policy decisions. For over forty years we have been committed to the development and application of economics to promote health and wellbeing through the effective, efficient, and equitable use of scarce resources. We are a community of over 100 research staff, support staff, and PhD students. We provide a positive, flexible and supportive working environment, with an inclusive and friendly ethos, where diversity is recognised, valued and celebrated.
