About This OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to join the Centre for the Business and Economics of Health (CBEH) to deliver a health economics project as part of the ARC Research Hub for Advanced Manufacture of Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals (AMTAR).
The Centre for the Business and Economics of Health (CBEH) applies economics and business thinking to inform decisions for better health outcomes. Through priority-led research and thought leadership, CBEH researchers analyse critical issues and influence improvements across the range of settings in which health is produced. The Centre partners with leading health organisations and service providers to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and equity in healthcare systems, and reflects on the broader factors and behaviours that influence health. CBEH generates and disseminates credible new knowledge based on peer-reviewed science.
AMTAR is funded through the Australian Research Council Industrial Transformation Research Hub scheme. AMTAR aims to develop new technologies and establish a platform for smart-design, manufacture and quality assurance of targeted radiopharmaceuticals. AMTAR is a large consortium led by The University of Queensland in collaboration with the University of Sydney and national and international partners https://www.amtarhub.com.au/about/.
The successful candidate will work closely with industry and academic partners to apply translational health economic principles to improve patient access to value-based radiopharmaceuticals.
