About This OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to work within the Queensland Government and contribute to the establishment of a circular economy function supporting circular economy practices within the resources sector. This research project is conducted as part of the Queensland Research Industry Development Plan, which emphasises the importance of ethical, responsible, and sustainable practices within the Queensland resources sector. At this level, the incumbent will be expected to 1) conduct baseline studies to understand current practices, 2) extensively engage with both public and private stakeholders to develop a collective vision, 3) provide recommendations for establishing the circular economy function within government.

This is a full-time/part-time (100%), fixed-term position until May 2024. Academic level B. The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $104,579.67 - $124,187.99, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $122,358.21 - $145,299.95 annually.
