Research Associate in Land Economy
University of Cambridge
United Kingdom

The Department of Land Economy is looking to appoint a Research Associate to join its team of researchers in the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research (CCHPR). We look at all aspects of housing, planning and land use, and conduct research for a range of funders. Our team works across multiple research projects, both long and short term, the majority of which are policy-oriented. Information about CCHPR's current and completed research can be found on its website www.cchpr.landecon.cam.ac.uk.

This post will require you to contribute to our programme of research for the Centre for Digital Built Britain, through the University of Cambridge's Construction Innovation Hub partnership with the Building Research Establishment and the Manufacturing Technology Centre. The project(s) that you will work on will require you to look at different aspects of digital innovation in the built environment from a social science perspective. You will be required to generate knowledge and disseminate it in different forms, including through academic publications, in order to support both government and industry in the implementation of digital transformation within the built environment.

If you are an enthusiastic researcher with experience of mixed methods research and an interest in digital innovation in the built environment and the transformation of construction, we'd love to hear from you.

Start date: immediate

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2022 in the first instance.
