Salary :£27511 to £33797 per annum, pro rata depending on skills and experience (minimum £30942 with relevant PhD). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance

The successful candidate will work closely with members of the ESRC-funded Productivity Evidence and Coordination Hub. You will be part of an interdisciplinary group that delivers world class research and knowledge exchange and will have the opportunity to work with academic partners across several UK universities as well as our business and policy partners.

Reporting to Professor Richard Kneller (School of Economics) and Dr Cher Li (Business School), you will lead on business performance/productivity/innovation related research and knowledge transfer linked to the ESRC Hub, with an expectation to develop high quality research outputs with significant impact. Primary responsibilities may include: conducting literature surveys; designing and undertaking primary data collection; contributing to the development of evaluation technique to measure technology adoption and its impact on business performance; microeconometric analysis of data; dissemination of research to academic and non-technical audience; help organise and participate in relevant workshop, national/international exchange, and conference events of the Hub.

This position is available on a part-time (29 hours per week) basis and is fixed-term until 31 December 2022.
