Research Assistants (Law), Research group on Law, Economics and Business

The Law, Economics, and Business research group, headed by Professor Dr. Alexander Stremitzer at ETH Zurich is searching for Research Assistants (Law).

We are looking for highly motivated students who are interested in working as research assistants for a “Law & Tech Class” to be taught in Fall 2023 and for which we need legal research.

Job description

You will support the instructors in preparing teaching materials and performing legal research for the class. This will be done both before the fall semester begins and during the course of the fall semester. Topics for which research will be requested will range from fairness in AI to tort liability of drones to recent platform regulations. Salaries are competitive and paid according to ETH standards.

Your profile

  • We are looking for advanced law students (preferably advanced Bachelor or Master level)
  • An interest to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary and international team of legal researchers.
  • You have excellent grades and preferably some prior experience in research support.

We particularly value individuals who are used to and comfortable addressing cutting-edge research questions where they must be creative and dogged in searching for relevant source materials.
