At the Faculty of Economics of the University of Vienna is a

 

professorship

For

Business Administration - Marketing

 

(Full employment, permanent).

 

The successful applicant has excellence in research and teaching in the field of marketing.   He / she is pertinent to publications in leading international journals and conducts quantitative (analytical, empirical and / or experimental) research in one or more of the following areas: consumer behavior, market research, marketing strategy, brand management, marketing mix models, marketing communications and / or Digital Marketing. Evidence of successful third-party funded research is welcome.

 

Your profile:

·         Doctorate / PhD and post-doctoral experience at a university or other  
        research institution

·         Required is a relevant habilitation (venia docendi) or an internationally  
        recognized equivalent qualification

·         Outstanding research achievements, excellent publishing activities, international  
        reputation

·         Experience in designing, attracting and managing larger research projects, as well as  
        willingness and ability to lead research groups

·         Enthusiasm for excellent teaching, university teaching experience as well as the ability and  
        willingness to teach at all curricular levels (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate),  
        supervise theses and promote young scientists

 

The University of Vienna expects the job holder to acquire German language skills within three years, which will enable teaching in bachelor's degree programs and participation in university committees. The University of Vienna expects the willingness in principle to take on organizational responsibility at faculty or university level, if necessary.
