Professor (Scale 2) in Accounting x 2, Department of Accounting and Finance, Cork University Business School

Permanent Whole-time Posts

Cork University Business School (CUBS) wishes to make two senior appointment(s) in our Department of Accounting and Finance. It is anticipated that the successful candidate(s) for the posts of Professor (Scale 2) in Accounting will fill important leadership roles in the Department of Accounting & Finance and will also contribute to the ongoing development of the Business School and to the leadership of the College of Business and Law, the academic college in which the Business School is located, alongside the School of Law.

In accordance with the University’s strategic objective as a research-led institution, the duties of all academic staff will include research, research-led teaching and contributions to the university, the discipline and the community. The academic staff member shall teach and examine, undertake administrative duties and carry out other duties appropriate to the post under the general direction of the Dean of Cork University Business School (CUBS) or nominee.

Appointment may be made on the Professor (Scale 2) Salary Scale: €100,040- €117,038(Scale B) €95,167- €111,318(Scale A).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
