It aims to be nationally leading and internationally prominent in research and education, focusing on three IR sub-fields: International Relations International Security International Institutions International Political Economy (IPE) Project Description The ERC-funded project “PROTECT – Protectionism in Place: Explaining How Subnational Change Affects Public Support for Protectionism” examines: Why some citizens support protectionist policies that are costly to them while others do not The effects of changing local circumstances on public attitudes towards protectionism The project collects new survey and subnational context data from select Western and non-Western countries. Project Description
