Your Tasks The position is part of a new research project funded by the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) on the economic consequences of sustainability reporting regulation. The successful candidate will conduct research within the project with the aim of obtaining a doctoral degree. What We Are Looking For We are looking for candidates who: hold a master's degree in economics, business economics, business engineering, complementary studies in business economics, or an equivalent degree (by September 2026). have excellent academic qualifications at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. possess effective communication and teamwork skills. are proficient in English. are prepared to work in Ghent (Belgium). What We Can Offer You We offer a full-time position as a doctoral fellow, consisting of an initial period of 12 months, which – after a positive evaluation – will be extended to a total maximum of 48 months. The Department of Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Taxation offers a dynamic, stimulating and pleasant working environment. The student will be able to further develop skills through additional Ph.D. courses, seminars and international conferences. The contract can start as of September 1, 2026 (or earlier). The fellowship amount is 100% of the net salary of an AAP member in equal family circumstances. The individual fellowship amount is determined by Team Personnel Administration based on family status and seniority.
