UCC wishes to appoint experienced academics to the role of Lecturer(s) in Business Information System.

The Department of Business Information Systems, in collaboration with the UCC School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, was approved to launch a Higher Diploma in Global Software Sales, Support, and Localisation, funded through the Irish Human Capital Initiative (HCI). The successful candidate for one appointment to the role of Lecturer (Business Information Systems) will contribute to the development and delivery of this and other BIS programmes of study. A further position is funded by the Bank of Ireland via the Bank of Ireland Professor of Business Information Systems endowment.

The successful applicant(s) shall teach and examine, undertake administrative duties and carry out other duties appropriate to the post under the general direction of the Head of the Department of Business Information Systems or nominee.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Below the Bar Salary Scale: €34,067 - €60,167 (Scale B); €35,940 - €57,252 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
