Position overviewPosition title:Lecturer or Lecturer Summer Sessions, Non-Tenure trackSalary range: These are academic year appointments and subject to the normal processes of academic review. Salary is commensurate with experience but typically begin at $62,455 and prorated in accordance with experience and instructional workload calculation. Percent time: These are temporary, part-time appointments.
Anticipated start: January 1, for Spring appointments; Summer course begin dates fluctuate between May 23, 2022 and July 5, 2022 and Fall appointments begin July 1, or August 1, 2022
Position duration: One to two semesters with possible extension. Summer Sessions lasts from 3-10 weeks.

Screening of applicants begins immediately and continues as needed. Applicants will be selected from this pool to be appointed in Summer Sessions 2022 or 2023 or in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023. The number of positions vary from semester to semester and appointments may be renewed based on need and performance. We are seeking outstanding Lecturers who can teach or co-teach courses in PLI and LEAD. The PLI culminates in a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership + Preliminary Administrative Services Credential for candidates hoping to become school site leaders, and LEAD provides a doctorate in Educational Leadership and is designed for practicing school leaders who aspire to attain system leadership positions. General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials, and collaborating with program leadership, program staff, instructors, and supervisors. To teach in PLI: M.A. + Administrative Services Credential, or equivalent international degree. To teach in LEAD: Ed.D. or Ph.D., or equivalent international degree. Preferred qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years professional experience in public education settings, preferably in a site or systems level leadership position.
