Position Summary

The School of Journalism at Michigan State University is seeking outstanding candidates for anticipated fixed-term (non-tenure system) faculty positions in journalism and mass media. These are part-time positions. Primary responsibilities will be teaching either online or campus classes. 

Responsibilities will include some combination of the following: teaching a course or courses in journalism and media that students can apply in careers in news media and other industries.

Minimum Requirements

Professional experience in journalism and mass communication or related area; commitment to working as part of a team; and excellent communication and leadership skills. 

Desired Qualifications

Teaching experience is desired.
