JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct and deliver lessons to full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners in general Human Resource (HR) areas as well as in specific area/areas such as Talent Management, Total Rewards Management, Performance Management and/or Learning and Development.
  • Design, prepare and develop teaching and learning materials (for face-to-face and online learning) and assessments, as well as carry out all relevant responsibilities related to the teaching role.
  • Be attuned to the latest developments in the industry such as Digital Innovation in HR, HR Technology and Analytics, latest HR Information Systems adopted, and drive curriculum updates in these areas.
  • Conduct and facilitate student-industry collaboration project(s), taking an active role in collaboration and engagement with industry.
  • Mentor and motivate students, and inspire them to actively participate in student life and developmental activities, and play a role in leading students for local and overseas learning trips.
  • Design, develop and deliver customised workshops.
  • Undertake industry projects such as organisational climate surveys, employer branding, development of OJT programmes and customisation of HR tools, with analysis of data to produce insights of business value
  • Take on additional duties as necessary (eg committee work and outreach events)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline
  • Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in the areas of Human Resources covering organisation development, talent management, total rewards management, performance management, and/or learning & development
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility for completing assigned duties on time
  • Proficient in using analytics software for business and HR strategies and analysis
  • Have a passion for developing talents, and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths
  • Have strong industry linkages to enable collaboration and engagement in human resource related projects and research
  • Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, and willingness to invest in continuous learning
