Duties and responsibilities
  • Conducting teaching, compiling and developing study materials in the field of accounting and public finance at all study levels of higher education in Estonian and English languages. Courses: "Accounting", "Financial Accounting", "Managerial Accounting", "Public choice", "Public and Third Sector Marketing", "Practical Training in Economics and Business Administration", "Bachelor's Seminar", "Introduction to Studies" in the Bachelor programme "Business Administration". 
  • Supervising students at all study levels, including PhD level.
  • Ability to take a part of RDC (research, development and creative) activities in field of sustainable green transition, especially in the areas of 'green accounting and finances' and 'circular economy' under the supervision of a professor or associate professor.
  • Popularisation of the specialisation.
  • Professional development to enhance skills necessary for teaching, supervising and RDC activities.

Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education institution and supervision experience are required.
  • Internationally recognised research in public economics and finances equivalent to at least one doctoral thesis in the last five years.
  • Ability to apply, acquire and perform international research projects (e.g. Horizon, LIFE, etc.), participation in the work of the international community in the specialisation, working groups and networks. 

Required language skills
Very good knowledge of the English language and at least B1 level of the Estonian language are required for teaching, research and professional communication.

If the candidate has acquired the higher education in question abroad, he or she may be required to submit an assessment issued by the Academic Recognition Information Centre (the Estonian ENIC/NARIC) of his or her qualification in respect of the qualification requirements for the position.
