We seek a professor in the production area with a specialization in either narrative directing or post-production. Additional expertise in other areas of the production curriculum --including documentary, cinematography, experimental, and digital media – is welcome. We are eager to consider candidates who have made work in the independent sector as well as the commercial sector; who work collaboratively as well as individually. Special consideration will be given to applicants who emphasize social responsibility and diversity in their creative work. All applicants must be able to lead students through a range of creative and practical approaches to making films with consideration for the relationships between creativity, storytelling and production feasibility. The position involves teaching skill-specific and project-oriented courses. We seek a dynamic artist/teacher who is committed to training the next generation of film/media professionals.
