Job Description The Department of Media and Creative Industries at UAEU is seeking an accomplished scholar and educator in Journalism and Mass Communication/Media Studies with specialization in Digital Journalism. Candidate must demonstrate expertise in current convergent newsroom practices and understanding of the transformations going on in journalism. We seek a candidate with professional experience in Journalism including news writing and reporting, multi-media and data journalism. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a demonstrable research capability that will enable the candidate develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research program in his/her area of expertise, publish his/her research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University.
