DutiesThe associate professor is expected to teach on graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, and supervise doctoral students. Within research the associate professor is expected to conduct and manage their own research efforts within corporate finance, and actively pursue external financing for it. An important aspect of the job is to participate in the development of the subject area of industrial economics and management in a broad sense by contributing expertise of corporate finance in ongoing research projects and in common teaching assignment within the department. Participation in the development of the department in other areas and taking on representative faculty roles is expected. The associate professor is also expected to contribute to the sustainability and equality goals set by KTH. The associate professor is expected to be able to teach in Swedish within three years of starting their employment. If necessary, a plan for language development including the necessary support will be established once employed.
