ECON MUNI research groups conduct quality research in empirical economics with focus on topics ranging from labour economics (esp. migration, and discrimination), urban economics, behavioral economics, political economy (esp. voting behavior). Members of the empirical microeconomics research group conduct research with peers from other Czech, European, and American universities. Members of the faculty have published in journals such as Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Urban Economics, Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organization, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Scientific Reports, European Economic Review or Public Choice. Empirical research group extensively cooperates with experimental and health economics research groups.
