The position is embedded in a supportive international work environment of the Organisational Behaviour and HRM research section of the Management and Organisation Department of the School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. RequirementsCandidates are required to have a PhD in Business Administration/ Management, Organisational Psychology/Science, or a related field in the Social Sciences, and should be fluent in English. A strong track record of research publications in top journals in the field of management and organisational behaviour is a strong asset. On full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of €3,746 (scale 11) and a maximum of €6,317 (scale 13), depending on your education and experience. The job profile (Universitair docent/ Universitair hoofddocent) is based on the university job ranking system and is vacant for at least 1,0 FTE. The initial employment contract will affect a period of 6 years, with the possibility of tenure. Department of Management and Organization The Department of Management and Organization comprises a large, diverse group of micro and macro scholars who seek to combine research excellence with passion in teaching. The department has a strong research tradition, manifested in top tier publication records (Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management Studies etc.) well as in success in attracting external funding for research. The Department has a collaborative ethos with members actively working together on research and teaching projects.
