Job descriptionAs part of a growing department supporting ambitious people, the Strategic Management section seeks two new colleagues who are passionate about doing research at the highest level and deliver high-quality education on strategic management. We are looking for candidates who strengthen the section’s research in topics such as corporate strategy, behavioral strategy, international strategy, business ecosystems, mergers & acquisitions, strategic innovation, and stakeholder strategy/CSR.Although we are eclectic in terms of research methodology, demonstrated expertise in either quantitative and/or qualitative methods is deemed critial.
RequirementsCandidates are required to have a PhD in Business Administration/Management, or a related field in the social sciences (completed or with a fixed date for the defense) and should be fluent in English. Prior publication experience in top journals in the field of strategic management is a strong asset. Candidates without a completed PhD but who already have a proven research record are also encouraged to apply. So are current assistant professors with a few years of experience. They might complete the tenure track early. What are we offering?A challenging position in a socially involved organization. On full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of €3,974 (scale 11) and a maximum €5,439 (scale 11), depending on your education and experience. The job profile (Universitair Docent 2) is based on the university job ranking system and is vacant for 1 FTE.
