About the Role

Trinity College Dublin invites applications for two Assistant Professor positions in Economics on a 5-year fixed-term, tenure-track basis.

The successful candidates will:

  • Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching

  • Supervise and mentor students

  • Engage in curriculum development and contribute to an intellectually stimulating learning environment

  • Conduct high-quality research, publish in leading academic journals, and participate in workshops, conferences, and policy debates


Qualifications & Requirements

  • PhD in Economics or related field

  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research

  • Commitment to contributing to diversity, inclusion, and equity within the academic community


Salary & Terms

  • Assistant Professor Salary Scale (109): €42,925 – €102,556 per annum, commensurate with experience

  • Academic hours as prescribed under Public Service Agreements

  • 5-year fixed-term tenure-track appointment
