Position Summary

The International Trade and Business Department at Özyeğin University’s Business School (AACSB Accredited) invites applications for two open-rank faculty positions (Associate or Full Professor). We are seeking internationally oriented scholars with a Ph.D. in International Business or a related field, who demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and service.


Position Details

  • Rank: Associate Professor or Full Professor

  • Department: International Trade and Business

  • Start Date: Fall 2026 (earlier dates negotiable)

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who:

  • Have an established record of scholarly publications in international business and related fields (e.g., global strategy, international management, comparative institutions);

  • Demonstrate teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and/or graduate level;

  • Show potential for leadership within the department and wider academic community.


AI Integration

Given our school’s strategic emphasis on digital transformation, we particularly welcome applicants who engage with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in one or more of the following ways:

  • Conduct research on AI-related topics in global business (e.g., algorithmic governance, AI in global value chains, platform internationalization);

  • Employ AI-enhanced methods (e.g., machine learning, NLP, large language models) in empirical or theoretical research;

  • Integrate AI-related themes or tools into their teaching of International Business;

  • Demonstrate pedagogical adaptability to AI-supported learning environments.


Responsibilities

  • Conducting high-quality research and publishing in top-tier international business journals;

  • Teaching core and elective courses in International Trade and Business at undergraduate and graduate levels;

  • Advising and mentoring students and junior faculty;

  • Contributing to departmental service and broader academic engagement.


Our Department

Özyeğin University’s Business School is AACSB-accredited, with a collegial and research-active environment. The School offers undergraduate, graduate (master’s and Ph.D.) programs. Our faculty publish in leading journals including JIBS, JMS, JIBEM, JBR, IMM, and Management Science.
