Position Description

The Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Management position in its AACSB-accredited program. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply; however, prior experience is not required. This full-time position has a 9-month service period and begins September 2022 (Autumn Quarter). Candidates will teach a capstone strategy class required of all of our business school undergraduate majors and minors and will contribute to our management major by teaching elective classes covering topics such as change management, cross-cultural management, human resources, negotiation and team dynamics.

Qualifications

Strong candidates will demonstrate outstanding research capabilities, have an active research program, be committed to effective teaching and possess a desire to be an integral member of a team of faculty and staff that is committed to excellence. We seek candidates who will contribute as engaged researchers and collaborative colleagues to serve our growing school and campus in pursuit of our mission. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management or another relevant field conferred by date of appointment.
