Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Information Systems & Business Analytics based in the Operations Management and Information Systems (OMIS) Department of Nottingham University Business School. The person appointed is expected to engage in high quality research. They must be able to make effective contributions to operations management and information systems teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with interests and expertise in the business applications of analytics.

Candidates should have a PhD (or be close to completion) in a relevant area. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant areas.  The ability to publish in academic research journals in relevant areas is also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours per week).
