Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Behavioural Analytics.  The post is based in the vibrant cross-disciplinary N/LAB research centre, located in the Marketing Department of Nottingham University Business School (with links and people in other schools and faculties, notably Mathematical Sciences). The N/LAB is a behavioural analytics research centre that derives computational insights from transactional and digital footprint data in order to inform social and commercial imperatives. The candidate appointed will be expected to undertake innovative, original research in the field of human behaviour analytics (driven by statistical/AI applications), contribute to grant capture and management of a growing research centre. The individual must have robust and proven abilities relevant to computational behavioural research; for example, quantitative, statistical and/or machine learning-related research skills (relevant to consumer analytics, social network analysis or other relevant digital footprint data). Candidates must possess analytics relevant coding, programming and software skills: to include competence in SQL and Python/R.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area and a proven ability to publish in international journals. They must have previous teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach business analytics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

This full-time (36.25 hour) post is offered on a permanent contract.
