Position Title Assistant Clinical Professor, Accounting Requisition Number 9741 Job Overview The LeBow College of Business is looking to fill a teaching faculty position beginning September 2019. The faculty position will have defined responsibilities in teaching, scholarship/research and service. The Department of Accounting within LCOB offers undergraduate and graduate business programs in Accounting. Qualifications Required: PhD, DBA, MS or MBA from an AACSB institution. Professional Certification (e.g., CPA, CGMA, CMA).
Extensive professional experience in corporate financial and operations management.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Experience with and commitment to working with diverse student populations and commitment to equity in education at all levels.
Experience and/or commitment to the use of technology as an instructional tool. Strong collegial and collaborative skills. Essential Functions The Assistant Clinical Professor of Accounting will perform the following duties: Teach courses in accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate level, primarily managerial accounting.
Engage in scholarly activities through publications in academic and professional journals, presentations and professional organization participation at a level sufficient to maintain an Scholarly Academic or Scholarly Professional Level (AACSB 2013 Standards)
Participate in service activities on campus and in the community.
