It is an exciting time to join the School, having recently secured AACSB accreditation as well as having AMBA for our MBA, and we are now seeking to recruit an outstanding individual for a key teaching and research position in marketing, who will help the Digital and Data Driven Marketing Department play a crucial role in the School achieving its vision.


The Digital and Data Driven Marketing Department at Southampton comprises 15 academics with teaching and research interests that include digital marketing, marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, brand management, luxury marketing, services marketing, entrepreneurship, and marketing analytics. Members of the department have published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. The department has a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, which is built on the research strengths and focus of department staff.


The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Marketing and an established track record of research publications at a minimum ABS 3* level, coupled with research grant activity. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong interest in innovative approaches to teaching. The successful individual will also be expected to provide research support (as appropriate) and mentoring to others in the group.
