Teaching Fellow, UCD School of Information and Communication Studies (Temporary)


The UCD School of Information and Communication Studies at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a Temporary Teaching Fellow.


The appointee will be expected to teach and assess and act as module coordinator modules in the School and to engage in supervision of research and internships and wider scholarly and research activity. The post is developmental and the appointee will be supported to develop key aspects of their experience and skills in support of future career opportunities. Expertise in digital information management/digital preservation/digital curation is particularly important for this role.


Note: The successful candidate will ideally commence in early March 2019 (or shortly thereafter), and be offered a specified purpose contract covering a permanent member of staff whilst on maternity leave (estimated duration: 6 to 10 months).


Fixed Salary: €35,000 per annum
