Continuing Lecturer of Photography and Related Media
SALARY Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Eligible to receive health benefits. Retirement benefits will apply upon a three-year waiting period.
RESPONSIBILITIES Teach four undergraduate courses per semester. These may include: black and white film photography, studio lighting, digital imaging, video, alternative processes, documentary photo, professional practice and the history of photography. The successful candidate is expected to assist faculty with running and maintaining the lighting studio, dark room and computer lab as needed. Participation in departmental activities is expected.
QUALIFICATIONS M.A. in Photography or equivalent experience required. Proficiency in Photoshop is required. Demonstrated experience required in studio practices of fine art photography—both traditional and digital. Knowledge of contemporary theory and history also required.
