Position Summary
Michigan State University, The Eli Broad College of Business, Department of Marketing, is seeking applications for a fixed-term faculty member with responsibilities in teaching face-to-face to undergraduate students recitation courses in Market Analytics during the 2019-2020 Academic Year. This course introduces students to descriptive and predictive market analytics and demonstrates how to apply analytics to real-world business decisions. Students will learn how to assess and manipulate large data sets, apply statistical techniques to convert data into useable information, and communicate findings in a meaningful way. This is an academic year, fixed-term appointment subject to annual review. A master’s degree is required, and a doctorate in an area related to marketing is strongly preferred. There are no research requirements for this position. The position will start in August of 2019.
