Juniorprofessorship for Marketing (W1)


to occupy.


The future job holder should represent the business administration in the field of marketing in research and teaching (4 SWS in the first three years and 5 SWS thereafter), have an empirical orientation and complement the content of the Marketing Center team. An interest in topics of digital transformation is required. In addition, knowledge from one or more of the following topics is desirable, but not mandatory: Customer Management, Pricing, Retailing, Sales Management.


Candidates should be able to prove through their current and current research work that they work in the subject area of the professorship on a high scientific level. A qualification of this kind will be proven especially by the quality of the doctorate, which should be written in the field of marketing, and the quality of scientific essays. If possible, these essays should be in the peer review process of high-level journals or already published. Candidates should also have sound methodological knowledge, for example in empirical methods of marketing research. Courses should be held in English. Teaching experience in Bachelor's and Master's programs and positive student evaluations are welcome;


The appointment is made initially for a period of 3 years, with the possibility of renewal for a further 3 years.


Prerequisites for admission are a university degree, pedagogical aptitude and the special aptitude for scientific work, which is usually proven by a qualified doctorate.
