Instructor in Fixed Income Derivatives

The Department of Finance invites applications for vacant positions as instructor in Fixed Income
Derivatives for a maximum of three years. 


The position of instructor is a part-time position with independent teaching duties. The
teaching supplements the main lectures at Assistant Professor, Associate
Professor, or professor level. 



Teaching of exercise classes, possibly participation in computer-based workshops. 



The applicant must hold a Bachelor degree or have equivalent qualifications. It is
required that the applicant is familiar with basic interest rate and bond
concepts, basic option pricing theory (Black-Scholes), and Microsoft Excel.
Moreover, it is a plus – but not a requirement – if the applicant has
previously passed the course Fixed Income Derivatives or a similar course.

Appointment and salary 

Appointment and salary are based on the Ministry of Finance circular of March 23, 2007 on
hourly-paid teaching. Salary will only be paid for lessons taught, based on a
salary report form.
