Adjunct Lecturer of Communication-International Entertainment Marketplace

The Master of Communication Management (MCM) program in the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, University of Southern California seeks a qualified Adjunct Lecturer to supplement instruction offered by our full time faculty, specifically to teach one section of CMGT-558, The International Entertainment Marketplace in fall 2021.

Candidates must have significant media and entertainment industries experience in distribution, marketing and branding communication, market research, especially in international or global contexts. Experience in major Hollywood studios with global operations and audiences highly desired.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: A Bachelor degree in Communication, Media, Entertainment, Producing, Marketing, Business Management or related fields.

Minimum Experience: 15+ years of industry experience in media and entertainment industries in distribution, marketing and branding communication, market research, especially in international or global contexts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Education: A graduate degree, e.g., MA, MFA, MBA, or other professional degree in communication or media and entertainment related fields.

Preferred Experience: Teaching experience in media and entertainment courses, especially in distribution, marketing and branding communication, market research. Demonstrated ability to coach and help students achieve their academic and professional goals. Experience in major Hollywood studios with global operations and audiences.
