This course explores how journalists engage with varied communities and reviews strategies for increasing engagement among audiences. Students also produce cross-platform news stories. Applicants should have at least three years’ experience working in a related field. Teaching experience is desirable. A strong candidate demonstrates a thoughtful understanding of current issues in the industry, including equity and inclusion in journalism.
