The EdD/OCL Program is seeking an instructor to teach EDUC 735: Analyzing Organizational Change and its Effectiveness. The process of facilitating organizational change involves multiple steps. Preliminary steps include understanding and identifying the core factors that facilitate or hinder change, based on organizational theories of change as applied to practice. Later steps include identifying, implementing and evaluating solutions that enable change and support high performance. This course is designed to improve your understanding of the following types of questions: What organizational models/frameworks/theories can we use to identify, diagnose and address organizational performance problems? What conditions influence the performance of organizations? How do we create organizational cultures that are inclusive and able to engage diverse stakeholders and institute creative problem solving and a collaborative atmosphere? Why are some organizational structures, systems, and cultures better able to problem solve and adapt and change than others? What levers do leaders have to produce high performing organizations?
