The Department of Economics at UC Santa Barbara invites applications for Assistant Professor tenure-track positions with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2018. The positions are open to all fields with priorities in environmental, macroeconomics, and public economics.


Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by the time of employment. A complete application will include a CV, letter of intent, sample(s) of research, and three reference letters. Review of completed applications with begin on December 1, 2017, and will continue until the position is filled. We will be interviewing at the AEA meetings in Philadelphia in January as well as alternate locations.
